Alors. Le débrief des vacances, c'est quand vous revoyez votre meilleur(e) ami(e),une fois que les vacances sont terminées, pour tout lui raconter ce qui s'est passé depuis un ou deux mois !! C'est la rentrée, mais il fait encore beau, on s'installe à une terrasse de café, pour prendre les derniers rayons de soleil de la journée, on lit le courrier qu'on a reçu pendant qu'on n'était pas là (meuh non, il n'y a pas que des factures !!) on se commande une grande coupe de glace, ou un bon petit apéritif, et après, c'est parti !!! My ring "Back from vacation" is an ode to the september tradition of parisian cafés open in the streets.
When the big mellow August French vacation is over, thousands of people flock back to the capital where they live, and since it's still very sunny outside, they take the aperitif on the cafés terraces, sunning themselves, unwinding, and telling their best friends all about their vacation, who they met, where they went, what they ate and so on.
There are letters on the ring because it's also time to open all that mail (not only bills, but sweet postcards from friends !) that you haven't read while you were away !
