Avez-vous déjà visité le marché de Papeete ??? à Tahiti ?
Moi oui !!
Il est très beau, avec plein de fruits exotiques, même des
que je n'avais jamais vu (donc embarras quand vous demandez
euh, c'est quoi et comment ça se mange ? ça se cuit ? mdr )Mais surtout ce qui est beau à voir ce sont les gens, les
maraîchères qui sont en habits de Tahiti et qui papotent
entre deux clients, c'est plein de couleurs et plein d'odeurs,
et plein de gens qui parlent moitié français moitié tahitien ...L'endroit ou je peux rester scotchée des heures ce sont les
étals de coquillages et de tissus tressés traditionnels ...
argghghgh
Bref, le marché de Papeete, c'est très chouette, et c'est une
petite bague pour le célébrer !La petite bague est créée avec un petit plateau miniature
en bois, et des charms vintage en céramique.

Ring Papeete's market, Tahiti by The Sausage
Have you ever been to Tahiti Nui ? The main island
of Tahiti ?
There's a gorgeous local market, with plenty of
fruit, especially ones that you have never seen or
heard of. (so you look kind of stupid when you want
to buy some and you have to ask how it's eaten,
how it's cooked and so on, lol).
But what's really awesome to watch are the people.
The women often wear traditional clothes and are
chatting between two customers, there are plenty of
colors and fragrances, people who speak half French
and half Tahitian.
... The place where I can stay forever until the market
closes, is stands where they have shells of all kinds
and woven traditional fabric and things arhrghhghg.
Papeete's market is great. This is a little ring to
celebrate it !
I made it with a miniature wooden tray and some
ceramic charms that are vintage and very beautiful.
